We are delighted to announce a significant expansion of the MyProgress community in Australia! Three prestigious medical schools; Adelaide University, University of Wollongong, and NewMed have recently joined the growing global network of higher education institutions using the MyProgress ePortfolio to support and enhance student learning and assessment in clinical education.
The University of Adelaide
The University of Adelaide’s medical school, renowned for its tradition of excellence, is adopting MyProgress to enhance competency-based assessment and foster reflective learning across its medical programmes. A key benefit of MyProgress will be its ability to support students and faculty working in rural and remote locations, an area of strong focus for the University, which offers dedicated rural clinical rotations. MyProgress will streamline data collection and feedback processes during clinical placements, improving the learning experience and enabling more effective supervision and assessment.
University of Wollongong
The University of Wollongong’s Graduate School of Medicine is renowned for its innovative approach to rural and regional medical education. By implementing MyProgress, Wollongong aims to strengthen support for students placed in diverse clinical settings, ensuring consistent, real-time assessment and reflection regardless of location.
NewMed
As a newer player in Australian medical education, NewMed is setting a high standard by choosing to integrate MyProgress from the outset. NewMed is currently developing a new programme (pending accreditation or regulatory approval) for 2026, designed around contemporary approaches to medical education. To support this innovative design, they have partnered with MyProgress to provide a modern, integrated platform for assessment and feedback. This decision reflects NewMed’s forward-thinking vision of providing students with access to the most innovative tools for learning and professional development.
A Growing Partnership Across Australia
These new partnerships highlight the value of MyProgress as the leading ePortfolio and assessment platform for health education globally. We are proud to support institutions that prioritise quality, flexibility, and innovation in the development of tomorrow’s medical professionals.
With MyProgress, Adelaide University, University of Wollongong, and NewMed will benefit from:
A system flexible enough to support different approaches to workplace-based assessment such as EPAs, MiniCEX, DOPS
Mobile app access for students to enable real time assessment at the point of care, even in rural locations thanks to offline functionality and seamless upload once an internet connection is re-established.
Structured feedback and reflective learning
Faculty will have enhanced oversight of individual learner and cohort progress with real-time analytics
