The Guernsey Institute to Introduce MyProgress ePortfolio

The Guernsey Institute, in its longstanding collaboration with Middlesex University, is a part of the Pan London Practice Learning Group (PLPLG). The PLPLG, a consortium of 14 Approved Education Institutions (AEIs) across London includes The Guernsey Institute thanks to this partnership.

MyProgress is the digital portfolio of the Pan London consortium in the London area that involves over 20,000 students in 12,000 locations, 75,000 practice educators, 17,000 University staff and over one million completed assessment forms each year.

The Guernsey Institute brings the island's further and higher education together in one place. The Guernsey College of Further Education, the GTA University Centre and the Institute of Health & Social Care Studies work collaboratively. The Guernsey Institute offers Nursing and Nursing Associate programmes which will start to use the MyProgress ePortfolio to support and assess learners in the academic year 2024-25.

MyProgress will enable learners on the nursing programmes at The Guernsey Institute to view their progress, log practice hours, gather instant feedback and communicate with educators, and has offline functionality on mobile devices for uninterrupted operation.

Educators will be able to monitor an individual’s or an entire cohort’s progress in real-time through an at-a-glance analytics dashboard, intervening with targeted and timely support when needed, helping to reduce attrition rates.
