MyKnowledgeMap today released version 4 of Myprogress, with a powerful new analytics module and support for cloud storage. The new name for the application - which was formerly known as ReallyManaging® Assessment - reflects the key role it plays in helping learners from all disciplines to progress and develop.

MyKnowledgeMap's solution for anytime, any-place mobile assessment is already trusted by leading medical schools, universities and training institutions. With version 4, released today, the app has a new name - Myprogress - which better reflects the contribution that it makes to developing students into professionals in medical training, health and social care, and initial teacher education.

The new version increases value in these areas as well as moving into more general education, sports and corporate usage through the addition of powerful new longitudinal reports, .

Key enhancements include:

  • A new name and a fresh new look and feel
  • New reports with a focus on tracking compliance with learning goals
  • Printable assessment responses that students, tutors or assessors can take away with them
  • Improvements to the administration of complex courses or placements
  • Dropbox integration, allowing learners to store their files in the cloud and manage them from the Myprogress app on mobile devices
  • Updates to the service that the app uses to communicate with the web platform mean that app users must upgrade their client app to work with the upgraded platform

The full release notes are available here (pdf), and there is a supporting presentation on SlideShare.

Rob Arntsen, CEO, MyKnowledgeMap said: “This is an exciting evolution for our Myprogress system. Not only have we increased support for educators looking to report on compliance with professional standards in a way that allows them to report back to professional standard-setting bodies, we have also greatly improved the convenience for students wanting to submit large files with their assessments.”
