MyKnowledgeMap will be exhibiting some exciting new technologies at the e-Assessment event of the year, e-Assessment Scotland.

eAssessment Scotland is the UK's largest conference dedicated to exploring the best examples of eAssessment in the world today, and with over 60 presentations from across the globe, this year's conference, on August 31st, is set to be the largest yet.

Once again, MyKnowledgeMap will be showcasing some exciting new technologies and ideas at the event. The use of iPads in education has really taken off since last year's event, and many of our customers already use the ReallyManaging Assessment tools (now known as Myprogress™) to push tests and quizzes out to student's iPads for completion online or offline, wherever they are working.

Now we're pleased to unveil a brand new look and feel for ReallyManaging Assessment on the iPad. It's the most advanced QTI 2.1-based assessment app available on the platform: it allows learners to download the latest assessments that their tutors have sent out to them, respond on or offline, any time, any place, and re-sync their responses back to their personal learning area when they have a connection.

Features include:

  • An all-new user interface, which emphasises key activities and new feedback and makes full use of the iPad's screen space
  • Institutional branding, so that the app automatically pulls in your university or department's logos and colours
  • New feedback screens, designed to improve the tutor-student feedback loop for both tutors and students

The event is free (register here) and features a packed programme of presentations and workshops. If you bring your iPad, we can set you up with your own demonstration access to the new ReallyManaging Assessment tools!
