19th October - MKM support Automotive Skills' Women & Work initiative
Automotive Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the retail motor industry has become the second Sector Skills Council to commission a web-based system created by MyKnowledgeMap to handle administration of their Women and Work Sector Pathways Initiative.
The Women and Work project aims to help raise recruitment levels in sectors where women are under-represented. Using our web-based system, women working in the retail motor sector can register their interest online, quickly and easily. The system then captures all the details needed by Automotive Skills, and allows individuals to access custom training plans.
The Food and Drink Sector Skills Council Improve is already using a similar system to enable women working in the Food and Drink Manufacturing sector to register for a level three Introductory Certificate in Management.
