03 January 2007 - New photo version of Storywriter Toolkit ready to showcase at BETT 2007
Our popular Storywriter Toolkit has just got even better.
Newly-approved by BECTA, the Government agency supporting all four UK education departments in their strategic ICT developments, Storywriter Toolkit is an easy-to-use program that enables users to create comic-strip stories with multiple outcomes, and decision points requiring student engagement.
It’s still just as easy to create your own comic-strip stories by simply dragging in animated people, props and backgrounds from the libraries provided, but now you can give your stories a truly personal touch by importing your own digital photographs to use in the panels.
We will be showcasing the exciting new photo version of Storywriter Toolkit on Stand Y26 at the BETT Education Technology Show (10th -13th January 2007, at Olympia, London). The world's leading educational ICT event, BETT attracts over 600 educational suppliers and 28,000 visitors from the teaching and learning community. We are looking forward to showing visitors to the stand how easy it is to import their own digital photographs and create truly unique, engaging and relevant activities for their students, specifically tailored to their learning needs.
Storywriter Toolkit custom comic strip interactions can be created from a range of templates, which map out possible routes through a story and show the decision points encountered on the way. The drag-and drop content enables a fast change of interactions and outcomes for up-to-the-minute learning that’s perfectly suited to particular learner groups. The activities conform to e-learning standards and can be published in VLE, CD-ROM, internet, intranet, or network share formats.
The toolkit is part of our innovative Custom Learning Studio suite, which has produced the successful learning packages Compendle, Compendle Professional and Hotspot Toolkit.
