22 September 2006 - MKM announce joint venture with Multi-ed on chronic healthcare learning portal

MKM are pleased to announce an exciting joint venture with Multi-ed Medical Limited – a Leeds based company specialising in healthcare related e-learning, to create a chronic healthcare learning portal.

Multi-ed Medical develop interactive educational programs for the health sector aimed at clinicians, patients and education providers. They are currently working to build a library of medical titles that encompass some of the more common chronic diseases. Working alongside them means that we can pool our knowledge of both elearning and eAcademy design together to produce an innovative chronic healthcare portal. Owing to our vast experience of eAcademy design, MKM will be providing the eAcademy infrastructure having worked on various eAcademies recently. As specialists in healthcare e-learning, Multi-ed will provide all of the e-learning for the academy.

This new chronic healthcare portal will take the form of a series of eAcademies including features like the Skill Gap Analysis used in our Diabetes Care Academy. Initial plans are to target Australia, but it may be opened up to the UK at a later date.
