Launched this spring, MKM’s new EMPOWER System has been designed to make multiple partner project management easy. And it is already arousing great interest.

Successfully piloted by the EQUAL Project consortium partnership, the Retail Enterprise Network, EMPOWER is ready and poised for use by EQUAL Round 2 projects.

EMPOWER acts as a live, virtual community within which a project’s players can communicate, exchange information and organise all the complex administrative, auditing and communicative tasks they are faced with. The System enables project players to run a multi-organisation, trans-national project as directly and efficiently as if all partners were in the same building.

Using a full Content Management System (CMS), EMPOWER allows project members to decide upon and manage every part of the online content, revising it as and when they need to. It provides them with such facilities as resource libraries, calendar, diary, newsroom, message boards, timesheets, wizards and templates for easy data input and output, and methodologies for recording meetings.
