Award-winning

Previously, Multi-Port has been used in  the ALPS system to allow tutors to send assessment packages to the mobile devices of learners on work-based practice. The learners can then build up evidence of their skills and development using the multimedia capabilities of their phones.

The ALPS project won the Innovation Award in the Tertiary, FE & HE category at the 2009 Handheld Learning Awards. The ALPS project also won the Techworld Mobility Project of the Year 2008.
