Case Study - Tesco

In 2007, Foundation Degree Forward, the UK government agency for Foundation Degrees, awarded the Retail Academy, MyKnowledgeMap, Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of the Arts London the contract to design and build the e-learning for a Foundation Degree in Retail as well as the work-based learning support system. We worked with the support of the pilot client Tesco.

MyKnowledgeMap created a system to allow Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of the Arts London to deliver learning to Tesco employees across the country. The system lets learners use e-portfolios and e-learning to hone their skills in cooperation with tutors who may be based far from where they learn.
