The new component is called Compendle Author and has been designed to allow tutors, trainers, and anyone with an interest in e-learning to create professional-standard e-learning content quickly and easily.

Author uses simple drag-and-drop functionality and an intuitive, user-friendly interface. All it takes to get started is choosing a layout and a number of slides. Text, audio, video and image components can be incorporated instantly to create engaging, interactive and personalised e-learning content.

Any content created in Author can be edited easily at a later date by returning to the editing suite to make alterations and amendments. A preview function allows users to look at the e-learning from the perspective of their learners.
