The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has launched a new online self-assessment tool for its members. Based on the CIPD HR Profession Map, it can be used to assess your capability against the activities, knowledge and behaviours in the Map and access practical recommendations for development.

Created by MyKnowledgeMap, the new tool offers a convenient and cost-effective way for CIPD members to learn about their strengths and development opportunities. Members can use My HR Map's practical recommendations to:

• Achieve their career goals
• Make career plans
• Enhance their CV
