We are interested in hearing from ASP.NET web developers in the York area looking for permanent, temporary and freelance work.

This will involve working on innovative web-based systems including learning delivery systems, e-Academies, e-Portfolio systems and Training Need Analysis tools. The successful candidates will have an opportunity to work in exciting emerging areas such as integration with mobile technologies. At present the majority of our systems are built with ASP.NET, Flex and SQL Server.

Requirements

Professional experience as a developer for web-based applications and software
Experience of the development of solutions in response to briefs and specifications
Ability to provide logical solutions
Have an excellent understanding of systems architecture
Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a dynamic self-starter and able to work independently
Experience in working to set deadlines

Skills

Essential

Microsoft.NET v2 & v3 frameworks, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, XHTML, XML.

Desirable

ActionScript 3, Flex, XSLT, CSS, writing proposals/specifications, experience in the learning technology industry, experience of systems integration and use of SDKs.
