We are the UK's leading supplier of infrastructure systems for national skill academies.
We've become the first port of call for people who need to provide learning and skills support to entire sectors—sectors as important to the UK's national economy as food & drink manufacturing, sport & active leisure, care, and retail. The e-academy infrastructure we've developed helps learners and people with a stake in a particular skill progress from entry level to degree level.
Working with the UK's national Sector Skills Councils (our clients include Skillsmart Retail, Improve and SkillsActive) we've pioneered online academies that can help people with everything from day-to-day productivity to discovering and achieving relevant qualifications. We've worked in consultation with employers to create powerful management functions that help organisations support the developing skills of their people.
We also offer e-academies tailored to the needs of organisations in the private and local government sectors.
Food & Drink Academy – MyKnowledgeMap is building the national skills academy encompassing the entire food and drink sector for Improve, the food and drink Sector Skills Council. It's designed to provide everything from moment-of-need productivity support to skill diagnostics to e-learning that supports people's progression into production-line management.
Retail Academy – MyKnowledgeMap develop groundbreaking online learning systems for the Retail Academy, the UK's only support organisation catering to the retail sector as a whole. We've created national qualifications, support systems, and "Retail Detail", which successfully brought the e-academy concept to a sector that can sometimes find it hard to make time for training.
SkillsActive National Skills Academy – We've been contracted to support SkillsActive, the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning across the UK, in their submission to the Government for a national skills academy.
Care Academy – MyKnowledgeMap has been contracted to construct an online academy for the care industry. Initially it will support all main FE providers of training for care in the North East region of the UK.
Diabetes Care Academy – Working with key partners in the health industry—including the NHS—MyKnowledgeMap has constructed an online academy, using its highly successful e-academy architecture, for the care and management of diabetes.
Company Academy – A version of the skill academy that supports the management of an organisation's internal courses. It provides a total solution to skill management in organisations of any size.
Management Academy – The basic version comes pre-loaded with learning content for management, skills diagnostics for management, and a huge online reference resource for management.
